It’s Halloween night! Hugo the owl has found a big, smiling pumpkin and put on his witch’s hat. Let’s colour, learn new words, and have some spooky fun in English!

1. Learn New Words
Teach your child these words before or while colouring:
pumpkin
Jack o’ lantern
witch
hat
Halloween
owl
stars
night

2. Follow Colour Instructions

Say the colours in English as you colour:
🎃 Colour the pumpkin orange.
🦉 Colour Hugo the owl brown or grey.
🎩 Colour the witch’s hat black or purple.
⭐ Colour the stars yellow.
🌙 Colour the moon light grey.

3. Talk About the Picture

Ask questions in English:
What is Hugo sitting on?
What is Hugo wearing?
What colour is the pumpkin?
Can you find the stars?
How many stars can you count in English?

4. Try a Sentence

Help your child say or write:
“Hugo is sitting on a pumpkin.”
“Hugo is wearing a witch’s hat.”
“It’s Halloween night!”
